Meet The Team

Please meet our executive team and founders who collectively have over 80 years of experience in production agriculture, farm transition planning, farm leasing, and general real estate consultation.

Glen received his ag degree from Iowa State University and farmed in Scott County Iowa, near Davenport, for 41 years and raised hogs for 37 years. In addition to his passion for farming, he also owned and operated a farm commodity brokerage, and served as a past president of the Iowa Corn Growers Association. He continues to stay active in the ag industry and participates in an ag “think tank”, a group of individuals from across the country who meet to discuss, brainstorm, and write a white paper about issues and future trends in Agriculture.

Steve received his degree from Coe College and is part of his family farm in Washington County, Iowa, south of Iowa City. He founded Farm Financial Strategies in 1993, which for the last 30 years has specialized in working with family farms on their estate planning and farm transition strategies. He’s a past board member of the Iowa FFA Foundation, and today continues to write a monthly column for Iowa Farmer Today on topics related to farm transitions.

Mike was born and raised on his family farm in west-central Illinois, near Roseville. He received his ag degree from the University of Illinois and has been working with farmers, landowners and their respected advisors for the last 25 years. He began his career as a land professional in the farm management and real estate industry, and in 2018 joined Steve Bohr as an associate of Farm Financial Strategies working specifically with family farm transitions and estate planning. In 2024, he joined Uncommon Farms to serve as a Farm Business Coach and farm transition consultant to its farmer members. Mike writes a blog called More than Dirt for Farm Futures on anything related to family farm and farmland transitions. He and his wife also co-founded Farm Raised Capital, a platform for like-minded individuals from the ag community who wish to learn, grow, and diversify in alternative off-farm real estate investments.
